Location: Castle Bromwich & Solihull
Shift: Days - including weekend overtime
£25.00 per hour weekdays CIS Available
£29.00 per hour weekends

The candidate will be responsible for the Electrical installations and modifications on site/facility projects.

Installation Electrician Duties & Responsibilities:

Electrical installation to drawing
Reading and understanding complex engineering drawings and schematics
Installation and modifications of cable trays, trunking and conduits
Installation and modification of power and data cables
Wiring of power and control cabinets and associated equipment
Troubleshooting electrical installation issues using root cause analysis and documenting resolution
Assisting PLC & Robot programmers to troubleshoot installation and early commissioning issues
Perform daily pre-inspection checklists on any plant equipment being used in their operation
Must be able to take instructions of work from Supervisors leading the projects and escalate any issues accordingly
The ideal Installation Electrician

Level 3 City & Guilds Electrical Installations qualifications
City and Guilds 2382 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations
Jib registered
ECS/CSCS cards
Current IPAF 3a/3B
Previous, proven and demonstratable experience working on industrial electrical installation projects with a production or automotive environment
Equipped with own comprehensive tool kit for suitable tools for the role
Ability to work on various jobs on own initiative
Ability to follow set tasks set by Supervisor/Project Manager
Knowledge of site safety
