Interventions Teaching Assistant – Mansfield Woodhouse

Location: Mansfield Woodhouse
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £19,100 - £21,000
Start Date: ASAP
Shift Pattern: Full-time & part-time hours available (Term-time contract – 13 weeks off per year)
Shifts: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

The Role

You’ll work with highly able but disengaged learners, children who need more than just academic support—they need encouragement, confidence, and someone who believes in them.You will work mainly 1:1 with a child in a range of settings therefor you must be happy to travel between sites.

Your mission? To reshape their learning journey. You’ll implement your own style, take ownership of their progress, and build unshakable rapport. This role is dynamic, creative, and deeply rewarding—perfect for someone who loves thinking outside the box while working alongside a supportive team of specialists and teachers.

You’ll also have the opportunity to work across multiple sites, gaining diverse experiences and enhancing learning from every angle.

What Makes a Great Candidate?

We’re looking for:

  • Must have recent experience working with primary or secondary-aged children.

  • Engaging, caring individuals who connect effortlessly with children.

  • Recent experience in schools, PRUs, or education settings

  • Creative, adaptable personalities—people who bring their own flair to teaching.

  • Confidence in 1:1 support, helping children overcome barriers to learning.

  • Must be happy to transport a child between sites if needed.
