Are you a Maintenance engineer looking to move away from nights? Want to get away from 12-hour shifts and regain a work-life balance? Then this is the role for you.
Working for this automotive manufacturer in Castle Donnington, we are looking for an electrically biased maintenance engineer due to a retiring member of the current team.
Your role as an engineers will be to maintaining and enhancing the efficiency of cutting-edge machinery, including conveyors and robots blending your mechanical and electrical skills.
The company has committed to significant investment in the plant over the next few years, promising new machinery and exciting projects that will keep your expertise in high demand.
The role of a Maintenance Engineer:

  • Maintain plant and machinery to a high standard through PPM
  • Troubleshoot and find ways to improve line performance.
  • Carry out pre-shift maintenance checks.
  • Carry out condition based maintenance to reduce downtime
  • Providing effective handover
  • Working on new installation projects.
    Skills and Qualifications required in this Maintenance Engineer role:
  • Minimum of a Level 3 Engineering qualification
  • Preferably a time served apprentice.
  • Strong electrical skills
  • Automotive experience would be an advantage
  • Electrically Biased
    Benefits of this Maintenance Engineers role:
  • Basic salary of £45,000
  • Monday – Friday
    • Week 1 06:00 – 14:20
    • Week 2 15:20 – 23:40
  • Enhanced Training courses
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Enhanced pension
