Maintenance Engineer

We're currently looking for a fully trained Maintenance Engineer to support both reactive and planned maintenance activities at our client's site. If you're mechanically / Electrically skilled, hands-on, and thrive in a busy environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out statutory and preventive maintenance on plant and equipment

Respond quickly to breakdowns and diagnose mechanical faults

Perform repairs, rebuilds, and manufacture replacement parts (lathe/milling experience preferred)

Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment

Operate portable tools and plant equipment safely

Carry out welding and fabrication tasks

Maintain accurate records using our CMMS system

Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter, Technician, or Engineer

NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (preferred)

Strong time management and organisational skills

IT literate with experience using maintenance software

Flexible with working hours and open to overtime

Experience with CAD/SolidWorks, automation, or robotics (a plus)

Basic electrical knowledge (preferred)
