Role: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Aylesford, Kent
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm
Starting Salary: £40,000 p/a + Overtime.

    The Business
    Auxtronic is partnered with a leading manufacturer and distributor of vitamins, proteins, premixes and ingredients for the food, beverage and nutrition industries globally.
    With an impressive £500m in annual turnover, our client is continuing with their expansion and to facilitate further customers orders, is looking to increase headcount within the engineering team.
    Due to this we have an exciting opportunity for a Night Shift Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support their modern site in Aylesford which is both a highly automated FMCG manufacturing plant and a distribution centre.
    Machinery: Conveyors, mixers, ovens, separators, sorters, vision inspection machines, X-rays, various packaging machinery, case makers, palletisers, flow wrappers, robots and other more bespoke machinery.
    The Role: Maintenance Engineer
  • Breakdown maintenance involving fault finding and rectification.
  • Planned preventative maintenance and routine servicing.
  • Facilities maintenance across the site.
  • Project work installating mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Contractor control and management.
    Entry Requirements:
  • City & Guilds, NVQ or BTEC Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance ideally gained through a recognised apprenticeship.
  • 5 Years of experience as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a high speed manufacturing environment, ideally Food or FMCG.
  • Electrical and Mechanical skills required with a competency in fault finding and repairing machinery.
