    About the company

    If you are interested in becoming a truly multiskilled maintenance engineer, with fantastic electrical, mechanical and fluid power training. Interested in learning how to fault find, plug in and interrogate PLC systems and interested in working within automation maintaining hundreds of robots, then we have the perfect role for you.

    Our client is one of the UKs leading OEM groups. Working out of a super impressive world class manufacturing facility in Derbyshire they are world renowned within its sector for pioneering new technology that keeps them ahead of its competitors.

    With constant investment and new projects on the horizon, there couldn’t be a more exciting time to join the group, who are now looking for engineers of both mechanical and electrical bias to join their team.

    About the role

    As a maintenance engineer you will be responsible for you will be responsible for maintaining a variety of PLC controlled automated production machinery, which can include conveyors, hydraulic presses, robotics, plastic injection moulding and other niche equipment specific to the site and industry.

    Other responsibilities will include:

  • Planned preventive maintenance

  • Reacting to breakdowns

  • Both mechanical and electrical fault finding

  • Working with fluid power systems.

  • Project, upgrade, and continuous improvement

  • Experience working as a maintenance/service engineer.

  • Continuous improvement mindset.
