Maintenance Engineer rate is £40-42ph and lots of overtime, current Maintenance Engineer can work 60-70 hours if they wish

Can be either mechanical or electrical

Location North London (Enfield area)

Maintenance Engineer is 12 hour days and nights

Lots of investment on site and new kit being installed

Fully automated site

Maintenance Engineer is needed for a world class manufacturer that has an impeccable reputation and high standards however still hasn't lost its friendly culture and strong teamwork ethic. The company invest heavily in their staff and sites with world leading technology/ machinery and training. (Maintenance Engineer is a LONG TERM CONTRACT and can lead to perm role is wish)

Maintenance Engineer duties;

Reactive and planned maintenance of production machinery
Electrical or mechanical fault finding and repair (depending on skill set)
Minimise Equipment Downtime
Support on breakdowns
Assist with continuous improvementRequirements for Maintenance Engineer

A formal engineering qualification to at least City & Guilds level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent with corresponding practical experience.
Good working knowledge of automated systems/ production machinery
From a manufacturing background
Mechanical and Electrical proven experience Application Process
