Manufacturing Technician | Witney | £35,000pa plus £4,000pa bonus | Day Shift | 4 on 4 off:
 
A leading manufacturer based in the Witney area is looking to recruit a Manufacturing Technician to join their manufacturing operation working 4 days on, 4 days off. This Manufacturing Technician role would be perfect for someone who is hands on, enjoys machinery and equipment troubleshooting, and problem solving. You will be supported by an excellent team and you get on the job training.
 
During your shift, the Manufacturing Technician will carry out routine machine setting, machinery maintenance and running of the production lines and equipment to ensure production runs smoothly, their products meet quality standards, and the equipment is properly maintained.
 
The Manufacturing Technician key duties include:

Selection of robot and machine settings
Troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment and processes
Initiating and installing of repairs
Material selection and replenishment
Processing colour, insert and core changes
Machine Maintenance
Preventative maintenance checks
Improvement activities
Quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
Resolution of basic electrical and mechanical issues The successful Manufacturing Technician will need the following experience and skills:

An Engineering qualification, apprenticeship or BTEC, ideally mechanical biased.
Experience of working with a high-volume manufacturing area.
Experience of working in an environment which can become pressurised in line with production targets
A willingness to work on a 4 on, 4 off basis.
Any maintenance or hands on assembly experience would be highly desirable.
