Hours: 39 hours per week on rotating shifts

Week 1 – Monday – Thursday 6.00am-2.00pm, Friday 6.00am-1.00pm

Week 2 – Monday – Thursday 2.00pm – 10.00pm, Friday 1.00pm – 8.00pm

Salary: £21.55 per hour (including shift allowance) + attendance bonus

The role

We’re looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer who thrives on solving problems, minimising downtime, and ensuring operational excellence. In this role, you’ll help maintain, repair and improve equipment that are vital to our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out both planned preventive and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults to minimise downtime

  • Work confidently from mechanical and electrical drawings

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records

  • Support facilities and production machinery including presses, robots and PLC controlled equipment

  • Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment

  • Champion health, safety and cleanliness in all maintenance tasks

    What we’re looking for:

  • Time-served mechanical or electrical apprentice with an HNC or equivalent

  • Hands-on experience in both electrical and mechanical preventative maintenance and breakdowns, ideally within manufacturing

  • Familiarity with presses, robots and PLC controls

  • Confident fault-finding and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Calm under pressure and able to work independently and in a team
