Employee cash planOrion are partnered with a fast-paced heavy industrial manufacturing company based in Kidderminster who are looking for an electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities

Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on aluminium die casting machines and CNC machinery (metal components).
Diagnose and repair electrical faults, including transformers, motors, sensors, relays, and inverters.
PLC fault finding – read inputs/outputs and troubleshoot issues.
Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and facility electrical maintenance.
Occasional robotics maintenance. 

What We’re Looking For

Electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
Strong electrical bias with proven experience in industrial maintenance.
PLC fault finding skills (inputs/outputs).
CNC machine maintenance experience.
Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. 

Bonus Skills

PLC programming experience.
Robotics maintenance exposure.
