Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer – FMCG

Location: Leeming Bar

Salary: £51,300 - £58,289 (after 6 months) + Pension + Overtime

Continental Shift System - Split Days & Nights

The Company

Based within one of the UK’s leading specialists, privately owned FMCG manufacturing companies, my client is looking to recruit an experienced maintenance engineer to add to their engineering team. The facility in Leeming Bar will benefit from further investment this year, to increase capacity. This manufacturing company is a well established business supplying into major blue chip manufacturers and is an extremely secure organisation.

Key Skills

  • Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical Engineering

  • Experience of PLC Systems & Automated Machinery

  • Understanding of PPM Systems within FMCG

    The Role

    You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules (PPM Systems), working with equipment such as packaging, labelling machines, flow wrappers, conveyors, fillers, bottling lines, Krones production equipment, robotics. and processing machinery within a high speed PLC controlled automated environment.

    In addition to this you will have the experience and ability to work within a multi skilled team and have the responsibility for the maintenance of automated manufacturing machinery and factory services, ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of engineering in this high speed food manufacturing plant.
