Maintenance Engineer – FMCG

Commutable: Tavistock, North Tawnton, Launceston, Okehampton
Salary: £45,000
Hours: Double Days

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join a FMCG factory in Devon. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive individual with strong electrical and fault-finding skills to support production and drive continuous improvement. If you are a hands on engineer, looking to join an automated facotry, then this is the role for you. They have invested a lot into robotics 

Skills requred for the maintenance engineer:

Must hold a formal engineering qualification

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of production equipment.

Open to the background - factory maintenance, recycling, food, brick,forces etc

Working on both electrical and mechanical maintenance 

Maintain accurate and timely records of all maintenance work, including root cause analysis and parts usage.

Participate in continuous improvement (CI) initiatives to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance reliability.

Work flexibly to support production demands, including occasional call-outs or shift cover.
