About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Primavera P6 Project Planner to join our growing delivery team, supporting critical National Gas infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in EC&I (Electrical, Control & Instrumentation) engineering and demonstrate hands-on experience working within the frameworks of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts.

You'll play a pivotal role in planning and coordinating major infrastructure programs with a focus on automation and systems integration in high-compliance, high-stakes environments.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, update, and manage detailed Primavera P6 schedules for complex EC&I projects across the National Gas network.
Work closely with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure plans align with technical and contractual requirements.
Support the implementation of automation and systems integration strategies across assets and control systems.
Interpret and apply NEC3 and NEC4 contract conditions to project plans and milestones.
Provide critical path analysis, earned value tracking, and what-if scenario modelling.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with regulatory and delivery targets.

Ideal Candidate Will Have
Proven experience as a Project Planner on large-scale gas or utilities infrastructure projects.
Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.
Strong working knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts and their practical application.
Technical understanding of EC&I systems, SCADA, and industrial automation.
Exposure to control systems integration, including interface management between hardware, software, and comms systems.
Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Project Controls, or related discipline (preferred).
