Our client is a large Global manufacturer with a global footprint. It is an established site undergoing £MM investment with an established SERVING engineering team. Staff retention is excellent. Training, development, and support are provided on a manufacturing site. You will help the site make high-quality processed products. Key Responsibilities – Mechanical Engineer
Your new challenge will be providing effective and efficient mechanical planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance to minimise losses to production
Leading mechanical breakdowns working with s CMMS
Continual improvement projects
Ownership and development of specific production line maintenance
Diagnosis, resolution, and elimination of root causes of mechanical engineering faults
Design, trial, and implementation of minor equipment modifications in support of increased performance
Completion of all scheduled, planned corrective, reactive and improvement maintenance as allocated
Contribute to the planning and implementation of allocated annual equipment overhauls
Qualifications & Requirements – Mechanical Engineer
Apprentice trained ideal, or NVQ level 3 / HNC in a mechanical engineering discipline in maintenance engineering
Manufacturing Industry experience essential, open on industry background
Fitting, Fabricating and Welding experience preferred
Experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, robots and extraction systems is desirable
Experience in computerised maintenance management systems
A proactive approach to fault finding, a commitment to continuous improvement and personal development
