Role Responsibilities – As a Principal Structural Engineer, you will:



Lead and deliver detailed designs for complex structural systems and buildings

*

Provide oversight on technical compliance, analysis, and documentation

*

Contribute to project planning, client meetings, and stakeholder engagement

*

Support mentoring of junior engineers and involvement in internal design reviews

*

Collaborate cross-functionally with other disciplines on multi-sector developments

What We're Looking For:

*

Extensive experience in structural design (ideally within a consultancy environment)

*

Strong technical knowledge of Eurocodes, steel, concrete, masonry, and timber

*

Proficiency in software such as Tekla, TEDDS, Robot, and AutoCAD (Revit advantageous)

*

Comfortable working independently on projects as well as leading design teams

*

Chartership (MIStructE or MICE) preferred or working towards

*

Commutable to Tonbridge and open to hybrid working
