Are you an experienced Production Manager with a strong background in fabrication, welding, and laser cutting?

This is a 360° Production Manager role within a well-established, family-run engineering business in Grantham. You will be integral to the management team, working closely with the Workshop Manager, Sales Manager, and Directors to continuously improve production processes, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of 15 production staff across fabrication, welding, laser cutting, and machining.

  • Oversee all aspects of production, including HSE compliance, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Implement processes to maximise efficiency, productivity, and output quality.

  • Work collaboratively with management and shopfloor teams to plan, schedule, and deliver production targets.

  • Drive innovation and operational improvements across the workshop.

  • Maintain high standards of safety, organisation, and team performance.

    Skills & Experience Required:

  • Strong background in fabrication, welding, laser cutting, CNC machining.

  • Proven experience managing a team in a workshop/production environment.

  • Hands-on understanding of health & safety, quality control, and continuous improvement processes.

  • Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
