Position: Production Shift Manager

Location: Thame

Rate: As per market

The Role:

Along with two Team Leaders reporting directly into you, you will manage around 40 Operatives in the production, assembly, and testing of the company's products. Duties will include:-
Ensuring your team deliver the production plan.
Monitor output, operational resource and overtime requirements.
Support and offer solutions to overcome issues, improve on practices and continuously improve processes.
Investigate NCR's and ensure consistent product quality.
Develop your team through skills training plans.
Ensure adherence to H&S.
Management of MRP / ERP systems.

The Candidate:

3 years + in a relative Production Coordination / Management role within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrable experience of developing teams/individuals and implementation of skills training matrices.
Monitoring and implementation of H&S practices.
Understanding of Lean/ Six sigma
Preferred (but not essential) experience of moulding / plastics and assembly processes
Preferred (but not essential) experience / qualification in electrical engineering.

Hours:

Backshift - Monday to Thursday 14.30 - 23.00 / Friday 11.00 - 16.00
