The Role

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver industrial automation projects from start to finish. You'll be the key point of contact for customers, suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

What you'll do

• Manage the safe delivery of industrial automation projects, ensuring they meet contract goals, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Meet regularly with senior management and clients to define project requirements, deadlines, and costs.
• Communicate regularly with team members and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify risks early and take steps to prevent delays or budget overruns.
• Develop and update detailed project plans as project needs evolve.
• Assign tasks based on team members' skills and experience to optimise productivity.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular status updates for clients and stakeholders.
• Work closely with relevant teams to ensure smooth delivery and maintain strong relationships.
• Oversee day-to-day project operations to keep things running efficiently.
• Coordinate planning and documentation with Designers, Developers, Health & Safety, Procurement, and other stakeholders.

What you'll need

• Proficient in project management software, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and tools like Primavera P6 and FastDraft.
• Good understanding of NEC 3 & NEC 4 contracts,
• Experience with either PMBOK or PRINCE2 project management frameworks.
• Full UK Driving licence.
