Project Manager, up to £67K, Commutable from Coventry, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Birmingham

    An excellent opportunity for an Engineering Project Manager to join an engineering and technology business expanding their engineering capability to support the development of products for both UK and international markets.

    Your background as a Project Manager:

  • Previous experience of successful leading and delivering engineering projects from start to finish ideally within an engineering design and development, research and development or similar engineering environment.

  • We are looking for a Project Manager who will enjoy working in dynamic and R&D focused engineering environment where you will be overseeing engineering projects through design, prototype development, test stages and into production.

  • Any specific experience of real time and/or embedded software systems or similar technologies would be advantageous but not essential.

  • You are likely to hold a relevant qualification in an engineering discipline.

  • You must be eligible for UK security clearance (British or European nation passport holder).

    Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Project management and delivery of engineering projects from concept through production with a focus on the real time and embedded software elements of projects.

  • There is onsite engineering offices, workshop, and test facilities so you will be around the projects as they progress on a day-to-day basis.

  • Forecasting and managing project resources, budgets, and timelines.

  • Managing project risks and resolving issues as appropriate.

  • Provide input into bids, which could include planning, scope definition and costings.
