Based at a modern headquarters this role offers the best of all worlds — working in the office, on the shop floor, and on customer sites across the UK. No two days are the same, and you’ll be directly involved in bringing automated systems to life.

As a Robot Programmer, you’ll play a key role in the set-up, programming, and commissioning of industrial robots and associated equipment. From initial configuration through to final customer handover, you’ll be hands-on with some of the most advanced automation technology in the industry.

Job responsibilities:

Programming and commissioning industrial robots to meet customer specifications and cycle time targets
Working with off-line programming and simulation software to support concepts, layouts and system validation
Setting up and integrating robot peripheral equipment such as weld timers, dosing systems and tooling
Supporting order acquisition and bid stages with technical input, layouts and simulations
Completing on-site commissioning and post-installation programming at UK customer locations

Experience required:
Ideally, you’ll have experience programming one or more of the following robot brands:
ABB
Fanuc
KUKA
Yaskawa
