Job Opportunity: Setting Out Engineer – Contract (Potential to Go Permanent)
📍 Location: East Central Scotland (Fife-Based Contractor)
💰 Rate: £35/hour
⏰ Duration: 4–6 Weeks Initially (ASAP Start)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Civils and Build Main Contractor based in Fife, with a strong portfolio of ongoing and upcoming projects across East Central Scotland.

We are looking for a skilled Setting Out Engineer to join the team on a contract basis, with an immediate start available. This is a great opportunity to work with a respected contractor on a range of interesting sites, with the potential for the role to go permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out for civil engineering and building projects

Ensuring accuracy and quality of works

*

Working closely with site management and subcontractors

*

Maintaining site records and documentation

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer in civils and/or construction

*

Proficient with robotic total stations, GPS, and AutoCAD

*

CSCS card (essential)

*

Full UK driving licence
