Job title: Site Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Benefits

Location: Taunton / M5 Corridor up to Bristol

Sector: Groundwork's & Civil Engineering

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Are you an experienced Site Engineer with a strong background in groundwork's and civil engineering? We’re looking for someone confident with setting out and site coordination to join a growing team, working on a variety of busy projects along the M5 corridor from Taunton up to Bristol.

About the Role

As Site Engineer, you’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality, safe and efficient work on site. You’ll be responsible for setting out, providing technical guidance and supporting the delivery team to keep things running smoothly and to spec.

Key Responsibilities

Setting out for foundations, drainage, roads, and external
Interpreting technical drawings and ensuring accuracy on site
Coordinating with site managers, subcontractors, and project teams
Producing as-built records and maintaining site documentation
Promoting and maintaining high standards of health, safety, and quality

What We're Looking For

Experience in a similar Site Engineer role within groundworks/civils
Skilled in setting out using robotic total stations
Excellent technical knowledge and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
