Red Sky Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a leading civil engineering and infrastructure company. They work across water, transport, energy, and the built environment, offering long-term job security, clear career progression, and the chance to be part of some of the UK’s biggest infrastructure projects.

The Role

We are seeking a Site Engineer to join their growing team, providing engineering support across a number of projects. You will be responsible for establishing level and survey control, setting out detailed works from drawings, ensuring compliance with health & safety and quality standards, and supporting the wider delivery team.

Initially, you will be working on the Manor Road NOS7 and NOS8 remediation packages for Thames Water, involving the repair of two bridge structures and five trunk sewer barrels across rail and road spans. With the works currently in the design phase, this is a unique opportunity to contribute from the concept stage of a complex and large-scale package.

Key Responsibilities



Ensure safe working practices, promoting company health & safety culture.

*

Establish survey control and set out works in line with contract drawings.

*

Accurately record data, drawings, and site diaries.

*

Support production of project plans, RAMS, ITPs and permits.

*

Assist Site Agent/Sub Agent in resource planning and lookaheads.

*

Maintain strong communication with site workforce and client representatives.

*

Deliver defect-free works, promoting quality and value engineering.

About You

Essential:

*

Previous setting out experience on civil engineering projects.

*

Strong knowledge of construction methods, health & safety and regulations.

*

Proficient in using robotic total stations or EDM instruments.

*

Degree/HNC (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering.

*

Excellent communication skills, self-driven and results-focused.

Desirable:

*

AutoCAD & MS Office proficiency.

*

Temporary Works coordination.

*

CSCS card, cable avoidance, first aid.

*

NEBOSH/IOSH certification.
