The Role:

You will be part of Sensor Systems UK, working in the Farnborough office. We are a diverse group of professionals and our work culture and organisation values everybody's opinion - these differences set the conditions for our competitive advantage.

As a Software tester, you will be responsible for the quality of the software. You'll sit closely with all the software developers, providing feedback and learning from each other how to achieve the best quality.

Key Requirements:

Reviewing software requirements and prepare test scenarios
Create and execute tests on the software
Analyse test results and report back any errors or bugs
Prepare and release test specifications and test protocols
Communicate with surrounding teams
Participate in design review and provide input to requirements, product design and improvements workshops
Improve automation and efficiency with testing

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor or Master in computer science or similar
Experience with software development/testing
Interest in Software and Quality
Working in a structured way and comfortable creating technical documentation
Working in an Agile environment
Safety critical software
Setup and creation of test environments
Software lifecycles
Jira, Jenkins, Git
Microsoft Office package
Linux environments
Various testing types
