Systems Engineer – Thorpe | Competitive Salary (£60k-£65k)

Hexwired has partnered with a leading company in the defence industry. They are looking for an enthusiastic Systems Engineer who will be working on different complex systems effectively. Although you will be working in a team you should be able to work under your own steam.

Key skills required for this role:

  • Proven experience in system design, implementation, testing, and integration—ideally within the defence sector.

  • Strong skills in producing clear, concise, and technically accurate documentation.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams, external stakeholders, customers, and suppliers.

  • A solid understanding of the full system development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, integration, and acceptance processes.

  • The capability to analyse and define system acceptance criteria and requirements.

  • Security clearance is required.
