What You’ll Be Doing



Managing and growing a diverse customer portfolio across the Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Cambridgeshire

*

Identifying new opportunities with OEMs, end-users, and machine builders across automation, robotics, medical, packaging, aerospace, and related industries

*

Providing technical consultation to engineers, buyers, and operations teams—understanding their needs and designing tailored motion system solutions

*

Working closely with in-house application specialists to develop and deliver bespoke product offerings

*

Representing the business at industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings

*

Keeping your pipeline and CRM updated, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting

What You’ll Need

*

A qualification in Mechanical Engineering (HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent)

*

A proven background in field-based technical sales, account management, or new business development within the manufacturing or industrial supply chain

*

Strong product knowledge in motion control components—including gear racks, pinions, linear motion systems, and couplings

*

Familiarity with the sectors we serve—especially automation, machine building, medtech, aerospace, and packaging

*

A consultative sales approach with strong problem-solving skills and technical credibility

*

Self-motivation, curiosity, and a genuine passion for engineering and innovation
