Our Client, a highly specialised engineering company, is looking to add to their Sales Team by appointing a Technical Sales Manager with knowledge of automated equipment / special purpose machinery sales.

The business are long established within a niche field of engineering. They are entering a period of aggressive growth thanks to investment – so are looking for a specialised Salesperson to increase volumes of both new and account business. The business is an established global operator – so in the long term several interesting avenues could open up for the right person.

To be considered for the role of Technical Sales Manager you will need

  • Proven sales experience within an automated manufacturing environment (e.g. Disamatic Moulding, CNC Machines, Packaging Machinery, Automated Metrology, Conveyor Systems, Robotic Welding, Automated NDT or similar)

  • The ability to be a self-starter and manage your own workload – whilst product training an be provided you are responsible for your own sales and your own diary

    The desire to progress your career and put new ideas forward to help achieve business goals

    In return for fulfilling the role of Technical Sales Manager my client can offer a generous salary of up to £50,000 with realistic OTE of £75,000 Year 1 and £100,000 year 2. Perhaps more important is the opportunity to grow business your own way as part of a highly specialised engineering group. You will also be given all the tools you need to do your job and have a variety of solutions to sell to customers.
