Test & Validation Technician

My client who work within the manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced Test & Validation Technician to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with the right skill set and passion to join a fantastic team.

Key Details: Test & Validation Technician

  • Monday to Thursday 07:30 – 16:30 & Friday 07:30 – 12:30.

  • Permanent contract.

  • Salary ranging up to £40,000.

    Duties and Experience: Test & Validation Technician

  • Working with the Engineering department to complete test & validation of systems and equipment, both on site and worldwide customer locations, and the development of control software.

  • Commissioning of system and equipment including:

    • System software commissioning & generation (Robot AS, PLC and Kepware Code)

    • System fault finding and diagnostics

    • Fault rectification

    • Conducting system wide test and inspection

    • Set-up of in-house system software and industrial PCs

  • Conduct customer training.

  • Conduct system servicing.

  • Development of Robot and PLC software.

  • Modification of engineering drawings to support system and build and to improve quality.

  • Writing procedures and plans.
