Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a UX Designer (AI) for an initial 6 month contract based in London or Edinburgh with remote work available (hybrid)

Purpose of the Role:

As a UX Designer you will help to lead an AI project.As a UX Designer you will be responsible for:

Defining and driving product strategy with a focus on design and usability.
Lead user research and design thinking sessions.
Develop and oversee wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
Prioritise product features based on user feedback and business goals.
Work closely with engineering to ensure accurate implementation.
Establish and maintain design systems and UI standards.
Track and act on UX performance metrics.What we require from the candidate:

Experience as a lead interaction/product designer on digital platforms and in the emerging technology space, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning.
Experience designing across multiple platforms, and working with technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mockups and prototypes.
Experience designing and prototyping within Figma.
Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
Experience with Chatbots, GenAI or Machine Learning.
Hybrid visual and interaction design skills to design end to end experiences that work and look great.
