Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Caulker Burner to add to their talented, hardworking team in Barrow on a 12 month contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same.

Rate:

£20.10 + £8.00 travel allowance PAYE non local
£26.89 + £10.47 travel allowance UMB non local

Local rates apply without additional travel allowance

What you'll be doing:

 Marking - off materials
 Set-Up Burning Equipment
 Fit and fair steelwork using fairing aids
 Fabrication of items - seats, ladders, false flooring & panels etc.
 Forming Material using machine tools - Rolling, Flanging & Cutting Machines (guillotine, cropper & mechanical saw)
 Steel or other appropriate metal plate perpetration, using different methods (Oxy - fuel gas cutting & Hand Grinding), pressure testing, drilling & lock fitting

Your skills and experiences:

 Knowledge and implementation of appropriate fume management
 Complete JV process
 Experience of remove lugs and attachments
 Set up and use manual burning equipment
 Set up and use mechanised burning equipment
 Completion of hand held grinding including HAVS control
 Set up and use of manual arc air gouging equipment
 Set up and use of mechanised arc air gouging equipment
 Set up and use of E&F robotic fixture systems

*evidence of qualifications to NVQ level 3 or equivalent must be provided at application stage
