The company are a leading provider of innovative pumping solutions and process equipment, serving a wide range of industries including Energy, Power Generation, Fire Protection and Water Treatment. With a strong focus on engineering excellence and customer satisfaction, they design and manufacture high-performance systems tailored to complex industrial needs.

The Role

This is a key role where you will be responsible for designing electrical systems and control panels for bespoke pump and process equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical system design of packages to required NFPA & IEEE requirements.

Creation and co-ordination of technical documentation, including CAD schematic drawings

Supporting other teams with technical assistance on any electrical queries

Design and develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control systems using CAD software

Specify components for electrical assemblies.

Ensure designs meet relevant safety and regulatory standards

Support production and commissioning teams with technical documentation and troubleshooting.

Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Proven experience in electrical design within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Familiarity with control systems, PLCs, and industrial automation.

Strong understanding of electrical standards and regulations.

Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Desirable

Experience in the process industries (e.g., pumps, valves, fluid handling).

Knowledge of hazardous area equipment and certifications.
