High Skills Technician - Electrical/Electronic Engineering

  • Location: West London
  • Salary: £31,632 to £33,621 per annum, including London Weighting
  • Job Type: Full-time

Join our clients highly successful team in an exciting opportunity as a High Skills Technician in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. This role supports their higher education delivery and the West London Institute of Technology, which offers a range of higher education programmes.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Work within various labs including the Power and Robotics Lab, PLCs and Mechatronics Lab, Electronics Lab, and LN Experiments Lab.
  • Assist lecturers in preparing equipment and resources for teaching and learning.
  • Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in efficient working condition.
  • Carry out risk assessments and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
  • At least 2 years’ experience with electrical equipment, PLCs, robotics, and mechatronics.
  • Proficiency in higher education software such as Multisim, Matlab, PLC, Verilog, Labview, and C Programming.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
