Installation Technician (Electrical Bias)

Location: Buckinghamshire (based)
Type: Permanent

The Role

We are looking for anInstallation Technician with an electrical bias to support the build, installation, and commissioning of production machinery. This is a hands-on role, working on-site to install and set up production lines and automated equipment.

You will be involved in full installation projects, from first and second fix through to final commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and assemble production machinery and equipment
  • Carry out electrical wiring (power, control & signal)
  • Support first and second fix installations
  • Assist with installation of full production lines
  • Work from technical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Support commissioning and testing of machinery
  • Troubleshoot faults during installs and setup
  • Work alongside project teams on installation activities
  • Maintain high standards of safety and quality on site

Requirements

  • Electrical apprenticeship (or equivalent)
  • Minimum3 years’ experience in installation roles
  • Strong background inelectrical installation and wiring
  • Experience installingindustrial machinery or production lines
  • Knowledge ofmanufacturing equipment and systems
  • Experience working on projects and site-based installations
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
  • Practical, hands-on, and detail-oriented

Desirable

  • Experience with automated machinery or robotics
  • Exposure to manufacturing or production environments
  • Mechanical installation experience alongside electrical
