Maintenance Engineer - CNC & Plant Equipment Specialist
Location: Coventry
Hours: 41 hrs/week (12-hour continental shifts)
Salary: £39,392 per annum + Shift Allowance £7,462 per annum + benefits

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for keeping production running smoothly?

We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team in a busy manufacturing company based in Coventry.

What you'll be doing:

Rapidly responding to breakdowns and diagnosing faults.

Repairing, servicing, and maintaining CNC machinery and other plant equipment.

Installing and repairing electrical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and automated machinery such as robots and PLC-controlled systems.

Performing routine maintenance and upgrades to support uninterrupted production.

Fabricating and repairing parts using machine tools, welding equipment, and workshop skills.

Supporting production supervision to meet manufacturing targets.

What we're looking for:

Time-served, industry-recognised apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.

Proven track record in a similar machining/manufacturing environment.

Multi-skilled with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic expertise.

Experience with Siemens PLCs, robotics, and TPM practices.

Forklift licence desirable but not essential.
