Are you a proactive Engineer who thrives on solving complex problems before they even happen?

You will be the main engineer that'll lead site-based engineering activities and drive the team forwards. Environment wise, you wont get much better in regards to the product and to be apart of a family run business.

This role is Monday to Friday - double days

Salary: £45000-£46000

Coventry

This is a pivotal role for someone who wants to move beyond "fixing things", you will be the link between the engineering floor and the senior management.

Your primary focus will be to transition our site from a reactive environment to a proactive.

You will:

Innovate & Build: With a mixture of automation and manual machinery, mixers, ovens, robotic arms, wrappers - you will be the leading engineer to ensure these are maintained.

Drive Reliability: Embed advanced maintenance strategies and use continuous improvement techniques to eliminate root-cause failures.

Optimize Performance: Maintain and enhance manufacturing equipment to ensure peak operational efficiency.

Lead with Excellence: Coordinate site engineering activities while upholding the highest H&S and Food Safety standards.

Your Technical Toolkit

We are looking for a leader who brings both the "know-how" and the "do-how." To be successful, you will need:

Expertise

Multi-skilled Engineer with an Electrical Bias

Qualifications

16th Edition (or higher) & Mechanical qualification

Industry Exp.

Minimum 3 years in a Manufacturing environment

Compliance

Deep understanding of H&S and Food Safety regulations

Leadership

Proven ability to build teams and manage engineering spend
