Are you an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer ready to take ownership of the full design process and make a real impact within a forward-thinking and expanding engineering company?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist design and manufacturing business delivering bespoke equipment and automation solutions across multiple industries.
Due to sustained growth and exciting new projects, the company is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead high-value, technically challenging designs from concept through to completion.

In this role, you will have full autonomy to drive design improvements, develop cost-effective solutions, and play a pivotal role in shaping future innovation.

The ideal candidate will have experience within the Aerospace or Automotive sectors, with strong knowledge of motors and drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, and robotics.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated engineer to take the next step in their career, influence key design decisions, and make a lasting contribution within a stable and innovative engineering business.

The Role:

Use AutoCAD Inventor to produce detailed mechanical designs and assemblies
Liaise with clients, engineers, and suppliers to ensure projects meet requirements
Manage design documentation, technical files, and production support
The Person:

Experienced Mechanical Design Engineer
Strong understanding of motors and drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, automation
