About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Python Backend Engineer with a strong background in cloud-native application development and hands-on experience building and integrating Generative AI solutions. You’ll work as part of a high-performing engineering team developing advanced, scalable applications for enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and RESTful APIs.
  
  
• Integrate Generative AI models and agentic AI solutions into production-grade applications.
  
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data science, DevOps, product) to deliver high-quality features.
  
  
• Implement microservice architectures, ensuring scalability and resilience.
  
  
• Ensure secure, compliant, and well-documented software delivery.
  
  
• Participate in agile ceremonies and mentor junior team members when needed.
  
  
• Optimize code for performance, cost-efficiency, and maintainability.
  
  Required Skills & Experience
  
  
• 5+ years of backend or full-stack software development experience.
  
  
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and related frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django).
  
  
• Proven experience designing cloud-native applications (Azure preferred).
  
  
• Experience integrating machine learning or GenAI components into production systems.
  
  
• Strong background in API design, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  
  
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and modern cloud services (Azure WebApps, Functions, Cosmos DB, etc.).
  
  
• Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and observability tools (Azure App Insights, Prometheus, etc.).
  
  Nice to Have
  
  
• Knowledge of MLOps principles and model deployment best practices.
  
  
• Scripting experience (Bash, PowerShell).
  
  
• Strong communication and documentation skills
