The Company
A rare opportunity to join the Group Tax function of a globally recognised, FTSE-listed business operating across highly specialised, complex sectors. The tax team is collaborative, forward-thinking and sits at the centre of the wider Finance function, working closely with shared services, finance operations and external advisers to deliver best-in-class compliance and reporting.
The Role
This is a genuinely interesting seat for a Senior Tax Accountant with a passion for technology and process improvement. You'll take a hands-on role in tax operational activities, with a particular focus on using automation and digital tools to drive efficiency and enhance tax compliance across the group, primarily corporate tax, with broader exposure to VAT and employment taxes.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day corporate tax compliance activities, with wider involvement across VAT and employment taxes
• Leverage tax technology tools — including robotic process automation, machine learning and data visualisation platforms — to improve processes and ensure accuracy
• Collaborate with internal finance and shared services teams as well as outsourced filing providers
• Support broader compliance and advisory work spanning UK and international corporate tax, Pillar II, transfer pricing and employment taxes
• Maintain compliance with tax governance frameworks and manage CPD proactively

What We're Looking For
• ATT qualified as a minimum; CTA desirable
• Experience in either an in-house tax team or a professional services environment
• Practical exposure to tax technology and data tools, Alteryx, Power BI or Tableau experience an advantage
• Commercially curious, technically strong and comfortable working at pace in a large, complex organisation
