An exciting opportunity for an ambitious engineer to join a leading UK contractor delivering essential infrastructure projects across Devon. Working as part of the AMP8 water framework, which represents a record multi-billion-pound investment in the region’s water and wastewater networks, this role offers long-term stability, genuine career development, and the chance to make a tangible impact on projects that serve local communities.

As Site Engineer, you’ll take ownership of the technical delivery of your section of works, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and compliance across all site operations.

This is a great step up for a Graduate, Trainee, or Assistant Engineer ready to move into a key site engineering position

As Site Engineer you will:

* Support the technical delivery of civil engineering projects within the water sector.

* Carry out setting out, levelling, and surveying using robotic total stations.

* Check drawings, quantities, and ensure work is completed in accordance with design specifications.

* Maintain accurate site records, manage quality documentation, and raise RFI/NCRs when required.

* Collaborate closely with project teams to maintain excellent communication and ensure safe, efficient delivery.

* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and promote a culture of safety and excellence.

Our client requires a Site Engineer with:

* Experience as a Graduate, Trainee, or Site Engineer on civil engineering or utilities projects.

* CSCS Card

* A good understating of construction health & safety protocols.

* Excellent communication skills.

* HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.

* Understanding of AutoCAD

Salary and benefits include:

* £40,000 - £50,000

* Car allowance

* 26 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)
