Role- Electrical Design Engineer
Salary- £38,000 - £48,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Type- Permanent
Location- Near Spalding
My client works within the Industrial automation industry, and they are looking to take on a Electrical Design Engineer, on a permanent basis,
PLC wiring – Design Engineering – AutoCAD – schematics – Amtech – controls – I/O schedules
The Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

HNC, BTEC and/or NVQ3 in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an engineer ideally within food and beverage manufacturing
Confident in fault finding in large control panels and machinery
Have knowledge of safety circuits and machine safety, it would be an advantage to understand component SIL and machine PL ratings however training can be provided
Knowledge of PLC control wiring, instrumentation and motor starter control types
Understanding of controls design and industrial automation
Full UK Driving LicenceThe Electrical Design Engineer role will involve:

Generating panel layouts
LV distribution and cable calculations
Aiding in project commissioning & safety validation
Generating controls schematic diagrams
Generating cable block/ instrument loop diagrams
PLC wiring diagrams and I/O schedules
Liaising with site teams to meet deadlines
