Are you seeking a new role? My client is a leading automation solutions provider seeking an Electrical Test Engineer? Working Days Monday – Friday with an early finish on Friday

What You Will Do:

This role is pivotal in leading the company into the digital era, through the design and delivery of world-class automation solutions.
Carry out quality inspection and electrical testing of control panels, ensuring the highest standards are met.
Read and understand mechanical and electrical technical drawings, ensuring components are correct and functional.
Be responsible for the calibration of all in-house test equipment and maintain high standards of house-keeping within the service area.
Record test results accurately, identifying and correcting faults as required, and liaise with other departments to ensure project timelines are met.
Support panel build and wiring activities when testing is not required, adhering to company and external quality and safety standards.
What You Will Bring:

Electrical/electronic engineering qualification with a minimum of 5 years panel wiring experience.
Time spent in a role as electrical test engineer
Strong communication skills and the ability to use initiative and pay close attention to detail.
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the capability to prioritise effectively.
Good knowledge of systems integration incorporating variable speed drives, robotics, PLCs is advantageous
A hands-on attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
 Current or recent experience as electrical technician, electrical tester, test technician, electrical test and inspection, panel wiring, control system engineer, control panel wirer, control panel tester, NPI wirer
