Are you an engineer with electrical and mechanical experience looking for a varied role within a growing manufacturing business?

Do you want to split your time between workshop-based manufacturing and field installations across the UK, working on innovative dairy and robotic equipment?

On offer is the opportunity to join Northern Dairy Equipment Ltd, a specialist manufacturer of innovative and robotic dairy systems. Due to continued expansion, the company is seeking a motivated engineer to support workshop builds and on-site installations, with long-term stability and development opportunities.

In this role, the successful Engineer will carry out low voltage electrical wiring and mechanical assembly in the workshop, as well as installation, servicing, and maintenance of dairy equipment on farms across the UK.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering background with strong practical skills in both electrical wiring and mechanical assembly, alongside a hands-on attitude and willingness to learn.

The Role:

  • Low voltage electrical wiring and mechanical assembly in the workshop.
  • Installation and servicing of dairy and robotic equipment on farms nationwide.
  • Supporting on-call rota for specialist robotic dairy systems.

    The Person:
  • Engineering background with electrical wiring and mechanical knowledge.
  • Practical, hands-on approach with strong reliability and motivation.
  • Willing to travel across the UK and participate in on-call rota.
