Overview: Working alongside our client, an established injection moulding 1st tier automotive supplier, we are looking for a skilled Injection Moulding Setter to join their team.

    Remit:

  • This is a great opportunity for a skilled Injection Moulding Setter to join a forward-thinking company at their modern & clean facility during a period of sustained business growth

  • This position will suit a skilled Mould Setter / Technician with prior injection moulding processing, machinery and polymer material knowledge

    Role:

  • Safe mounting and dismounting of injection mould tools

  • Accurate setting of injection moulding tools and operating moulding machines

  • Tool changes and process set-up

  • Basic machine maintenance

  • Tool Trials

  • Quality Control

  • Material section and control

  • Supervision of operators on shift

    Experience Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Injection Moulding Technician/Setter

  • Good experience with injection moulding machinery and robots

  • Good knowledge of plastics and the uses/properties

  • Knowledge of material section & control

  • Technical and analytical with the ability to problem solve

  • Experience in process optimization & troubleshooting

  • Good communications skills

  • Leadership skills and a strong team player
