Topographical & Measured Building Surveyor

Our client is a dedicated team of highly skilled individuals, based in the East of England, offering a wide range of surveying services across the UK and Europe.

Over 30 years, they have built an excellent reputation for a professional, reliable service, supplying accurate and detailed surveys to every sector, large and small.

Established in 1990 the company has grown and now offers surveying services for every commercial, industrial, municipal and residential application.

They have worked on a vast variety of projects, including some of the most detailed and accurate survey work for the construction of flood defences, railways, hospitals, offices and schools. We have a broad base of clients including county councils, service authorities and some of the UK's largest construction companies.

They are also involved in private client work, including the preparation of surveys for property extensions, building renovations, garden landscaping and swimming pool construction for consulting engineers, town planners, architects and individual clients across the UK.

In addition, they have been commissioned for some unusual and prestigious projects including the production of internal floor plans for a reality TV show, development plans for the UK’s oldest zoological gardens and monitoring of a Grade 1 listed stone pier.

Utilising Trimble Robotic surveying equipment, GPS Glonass receivers and Faro 3D scanners along with the latest data collection technologies available, they can offer the finished drawings in all digital or hard copy formats.

They are now seeking a Topographical & Measured Building Surveyor to join the friendly team.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience for this interesting and exciting role: -

~ Production of Topographical Surveys using Trimble Robotic Total Station, ‘one man’ instrument.
~ Production of Topographical Surveys using GPS-VRS.
~ Sound knowledge/experience of Trimble Terramodel processing & AutoCAD.
~ Production of Measured Building Surveys (Floor Plans/Elevations/Sections).

You must be reliable, enthusiastic and flexible. In addition, you will need to be able to work autonomously or as part of a team, hold a full clean UK driving licence and be able to travel when necessary.
