Position: Machine Operator

Location: Thame

Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Machine Operative to begin work for a world leading manufacturer.

Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Machine Operator to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the factory's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.

Your daily duties will include:

Operating CNC machinery safely
Ensuring production areas are clean and free from obstacles
Running quality checks on finished products, ensuring they meet company standards and flagging below-standard items
Ensuring raw material is fed into processing machines safely, including quality checking raw materials
Working on packaging and labelling items
Maintaining machines, and ensuring they run smoothlyTo be considered for this role you will need the following skills/experience:

Previous production/manufacturing experience
Ideally have worked with CNC machinery previously
Good working within a team and on your own initiative
Good attention to detail in order to understand and correctly follow processes
Good communication skillsMore about the role:

Hours - 6:00am to 2.30pm Monday to Thursday and 6:00am to 11:00am on Friday's
Start date: ASAP following interview process
Salary: £24,743
