Are you a hands-on, technically skilled engineer with experience in automated industrial environments? We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join a dynamic team, ensuring the smooth operation of a state-of-the-art automated facility.
About the Role
In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining high-tech automated systems, including conveyors, sorters, and PLC-controlled equipment. You will carry out preventative and reactive maintenance to minimize downtime, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on automated material handling systems.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system faults.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and manage spare parts inventory.
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and support a safe working environment.
Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to coordinate maintenance activities.
Identify opportunities for system improvements and implement solutions.Requirements
Technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems.
Relevant engineering or technical qualifications (e.g., City and Guilds, NVQ, HNC).
Proven experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in automated environments.
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Effective communication and team-working abilities.
Flexibility to work varied hours as needed.Desirable
Experience with automated sortation or material handling systems.
Knowledge of electrical regulations (17th/18th edition).
