Role: Non-Executive Director - Industry 4.0

Location: Nottingham, East Midlands

Working Arrangement: 2–3 Days/Month - Onsite

Salary: £800 - £1500 per day

A rare opportunity to influence the trajectory of a high-growth, deep-tech scale-up.

We're working with a venture-backed advanced engineering business poised for international expansion. They’ve developed unique IP in the high-value capital equipment space and are now seeking a Non-Executive Director with experience scaling technology-led businesses across borders.

Your background:

You’ve steered start-ups or scale-ups through funding rounds, established operational KPIs, guided exec teams through corporate development, and supported growth into international markets. You bring both strategic perspective and practical insight, ideally gained in environments involving complex hardware, robotics, automation, or advanced manufacturing systems.

This role offers:

  • Board-level influence in a genuinely groundbreaking business

  • 2–3 days per month commitment (onsite in the East Midlands)

  • A collaborative leadership team seeking challenge and accountability
