Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a skilled Plant Fitter to join their expanding team in Farnborough, Hampshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical background to work with a wide range of plant equipment - from 110v hand tools and 3-phase machinery to diesel-powered machines, robotic demolition units, and hybrid plant equipment.

Whether you're an experienced plant technician or currently working in automotive or industrial maintenance, your transferable skills will be supported with full training on specialist machinery. What’s essential is a solid foundation in general mechanical repairs and a positive, can-do attitude.

Full-Time | Monday to Friday | Overtime Available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain various plant equipment including hand tools, diesel and hybrid machinery, and robotic demolition machines

  • Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical and electrical repairs

  • Ensure all equipment is safe, functional, and maintained to a high standard

  • Work independently or as part of a team in a busy workshop environment

    Skills and experience:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and repair experience

  • Background in plant, automotive, or industrial equipment maintenance

  • Willingness to learn and train on specialist plant machinery

  • Ability to work to high standards and demonstrate attention to detail

  • Own tools required

  • A motivated individual with a positive attitude

  • Ability to adapt and learn quickly

  • Reliable and committed to high-quality workmanship
