Robot Programmer – Fanuc Welding Robotics
Location: West Bromwich
Salary: £14 – £15 per hour + bonus scheme
Hours: 39 per week | Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM start

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Robot Programmer with a strong background in welding to join our team in West Bromwich. You'll be responsible for programming, optimizing, and maintaining Fanuc robotic welding systems, ensuring smooth production flow and exceptional quality standards.

✅ Key Responsibilities

Program and fine-tune Fanuc robotic welding systems
Troubleshoot and resolve robotic welding faults
Oversee robotic and manual welding operations (MIG, spot, seam, and stitch)
Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently met
Coordinate servicing and repairs with the maintenance team
Identify and implement process improvements to boost automation efficiency
Offer technical support and guidance to welding operators
Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations and company policies

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in Fanuc robot programming and fault diagnosis
Strong welding knowledge: MIG, spot, seam, and stitch welding
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and automation issues
Background in a manufacturing or production environment
A hands-on, proactive approach to problem-solving
