We’re looking for an experienced Associate Structural Engineer to join the Leeds office of an award-winning consultancy, known for delivering exceptional structural engineering solutions across the UK., This position will play a pivotal role in leading projects and supporting the continued growth of their structures team.
As an Associate, you’ll join a close-knit, technically skilled team working on a variety of exciting and meaningful projects across education, healthcare, commercial, heritage, and public sectors. You’ll contribute to technically complex work while mentoring junior engineers and engaging with clients, architects and stakeholders. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities, shape project delivery and play an active role in expanding their influence in the region.

    What You Need To Succeed
  • Experience delivering structural projects from concept through to completion.
  • Strong technical expertise in design and analysis of building structures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for client engagement and internal leadership.
  • Ability to mentor and support developing engineers within the team.
  • Comfortable managing budgets, programmes, and project delivery targets.
  • Skilled in using engineering software such as Tekla, TEDDS, Robot or similar.
  • A collaborative mindset and a commitment to high-quality, sustainable design.
  • Chartered with either IStructE or ICE.
  • MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
